Cookie Policy
This site is intentionally light. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site profiling. When you click a download button, a counter records that a download happened (platform only, and the creator’s code if you came through one of their links) so we know how many people tried Focen. We also count page views and clicks on the trial and download buttons without cookies; the IP address is hashed and the hash is deleted after 7 days.
What we store
Strictly necessary
A single localStorage entry (focen-consent-v1) remembers your choice on the consent banner so we don’t ask again. It contains no personal data and is stored only in your browser.
If you arrive through a creator’s link (focen.app followed by their name), a second localStorage entry (focen_ref) remembers that creator’s code for 90 days, so a download you make is counted for them and a subscription you start is matched to them. It contains the code, the name of the video the link came from if there was one, and nothing about you. There is no cookie.
If you answer the question on the welcome page about where you saw Focen, a third entry (focen-seen-on) remembers that you answered so the question is not shown again.
We also keep a few entries in your browser: whether you joined the waitlist (focen-waitlist-joined), and when you last sent a support or data request, so the form is not sent twice (focen-support-last, focen-dsar-last). None of them contains anything about you.
Optional
If you select “Allow” on the consent banner, Vercel Web Analytics measures visits to this site. If the site shows you a pricing offer, your browser also remembers when it runs out (focen-offer-v2) and which version of a pricing test you see (focen-exp-v1). None of this loads or is stored before you allow it, and “Decline” keeps it off.
Third parties
Fonts are self-hosted on this domain, so rendering the site sends no requests to Google or any font CDN. We avoid third-party embeds that track you.
Managing your choice
You can clear the stored preference at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this domain; the banner will appear again on your next visit.
